Branksome Park is a Poole conservation and tree protection area. It is one of Poole's most affluent areas alongside Sandbanks, Canford Cliffs, Evening Hill, Lilliput, and Salterns Marina. It is on the border of Poole, with Bournemouth being on the other side of The Avenue. It is less than two miles from the shopping areas of Westbourne and The Square in the centre of Bournemouth. Poole is positioned on a popular stretch of coastline, with the resort of Bournemouth to the east, Studland and the Jurassic coast to the south-west. The administrative boundary of Poole also includes the mainly residential areas of Parkstone and Branksome.  Hurn, Bournemouth's international airport is approximately 10 miles from Poole. Poole is a 2 hour drive to London and 30 minutes from Southampton.
